Born in Malaysia, currently in Siargao, and mostly based wherever nature feels close.
For Sharolyn, the sea has always been more than a place. It was something she dreamed about before she even knew how to swim.
Years later, she taught herself to move in the water and found her way into snorkeling, diving, freediving, surfing, and everything that keeps her close to the ocean.
She says the sea has been her only constant. The place she runs to in every season of life.

In tears, in happiness, in stillness, in change.

What does the name Blōm mean?

From the beginning, we wanted a name that felt soft, natural, and full of meaning, something that could hold both femininity and strength.

The line above the **ō** is called a macron. Grammatically, it is a mark used to lengthen the sound of a vowel, so the name is read as *Bloom*.

But more than the sound, we were drawn to what *bloom* means.

Blooming is a process.
It does not happen all at once, and it does not look the same for everyone.
It is personal, natural, and shaped over time.

To bloom is to grow into who you already are, in your own rhythm.

For us, that feeling is deeply connected to the sea.
Blōm is for women who bloom by the sea — women who feel freer, softer, stronger, and more themselves when they are close to the water.

That is what Blōm stands for.

Everything about Blōm was created to feel grounded, feminine, natural, and free-spirited, like the women we create for, and like the rhythm of life by the sea.

Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect that world: softness without weakness, simplicity with identity, pieces that move with you, and the feeling of being at home in your own body, close to nature and the ocean.
